Global dance party

This summer is finally in full swing and we have a little over 90 more days till autumn returns to this part of the planet.  That said, Sundae globally is heating up the dj talent.  I will only speak for the home city of Philly....get ready for some serious dance beats coming to the river and Spring Garden st.

This week there will be a lot of you on the road, traveling to Philly for the birthday of our great nation.  Below find some great driving music from the past weeks.  I would like to thank Rob Paine, Willyum, Sat One & Spen for amazing sets. A big shout out to everyone that packed Silk City for the Icon 3 - Michael Jackson, it was a great party.  Silk has really been off the chain, thanks to all of your support.

This week : Del, Lonely & Glenn Thornton


 

 

In a collaboration w/ BBE out of Germany, Sundae will help kick off the record release for Dimitri from Paris' Get down with the Philly Sound.  A tribute to the "founding city of Disco" not my words but theirs (lol) .  That said,  Glenn, Lonely and Del will be joining forces to help pay homage to the sound that has shaped a nation and the world, in the city that democracy was born in.

Come early to hear the entire album along with narration from Dimitri from Paris himself.  This will happen around 3:30ish. Then the party starts. we have a few special cds to give away, but you will have to work for them.  Whom ever comes in their best Disco or 70's gear will get a copy (limited to best4 people - our choice).  Next a Hustle contest - once the sun goes down, the top two couples to Hustle will get a pair of cds too.

Wow, if you have not been to the Tuesday night party at Voyeur, you are missing something.  Only a few months old and it is incredible fun.  So by popular demand, we are expanding the party to Fridays now.  I will be moving from the mezzanine to the Ruby lounge to join one of the best bartenders - Frankie! to serve you great music and drinks.

You will NOT hear anything you hear on the radio.  I strive not to play any top 40.  You will hear America, Marvin Gaye, Carley Simon, the Stones.  You will hear B-sides (for those old enough) of Mike, Mo & his purple badness.  You will hear songs you never thought you would hear in a club environment.  You will have fun.

Come early, the room gets packed quick.

4th of July nite

This party has been getting better and better.  This week Dirty will be spinning at Voyeur on the third floor, so make sure to save up enough energy to dance all night long.


Going Live (i hope)

Looks like we worked out the streaming bug in the mobile Sundae app.  So this week, we will again try to stream audio and video to all our mobile phone holders globally.

Simply launch your app and look for the more tab.  Then scroll to the bottom and click live stream.  I will leave a live stream up for you to experiment with.  Its only my roof deck with a few past sundae mixes playing, but you will be able to help us out with any bugs we have not discovered.

If you are lucky, you might just see Scooby and Astro sunning on the deck.  If you do find a problem, hit me back with what type of phone you are using and if you are on wifi or cellular support.
